Captain Blankenship – Using only organic, wild-crafted, or natural ingredients, Jana Blankenship crafts her refreshingly natural products for hair, body, skin, and lips, inspired by the smells of the natural world. Her unique scents will make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated just reading their descriptions: “White flowers change their hue with strokes of sweet orange, grapefruit, and bergamot” is just one example. Hodge Podge Farm – Hodge Podge Farm is designer Cal Patch’s line of handmade clothing which includes crocheted hats and cowls, hand-dyed silk and wool scarves, clothing, and accessories. Cal has worked as a designer for Urban Outfitters, run her own shop in Brooklyn, and taught at MAKE workshop, a hipster craft school that she co-founded. Now, from her Accord, NY studio, Cal writes articles and books on crafting and does freelance design work for various clothing companies, artists, museums, and advertising clients. She also teaches multiple crafts at various locations in New York, so stop by her table and ask about her schedule. This is Cal’s second year at Hullabaloo and we’re thrilled to have her back!

Mighty Brittle Karden from New Lebanon has succeeded in his quest for a better brittle. Made with real Hudson Valley maple syrup and organic cane sugar (no corn syrup here!), this small-batch brittle is crunchy (not sticky!) and made with pecans (not peanuts) for a richer, nuttier taste. JK Custom Furniture and Design Joining us from Great Barrington, MA, Josh and Kristen are bringing their home accessories (including cutting boards, cheese and serving trays, cutlery holders, candle holders, and lighting, as well as table linens and aprons) to Hullabaloo! Josh got his start in carpentry and craftsmanship building theatre, film, and TV sets before focusing his energies on gorgeously-crafted cabinets, furniture, and smaller wood pieces. Gray Works Design –Returning vendor Andrew Gray is from Woodstock, NY, where he makes his press-worthy Footed Platte™ cutting boards (you may recognize them from features in Martha Stewart’s Whole Living, Dwell Magazine, and Apartment Therapy), as well as small furniture, bowls, and other accessories. He uses native-species materials from local sources (along with plant-derived, heavy metal drier-free, zero VOC finishes) to create his beautiful non-toxic, FDA-rated food-safe products. Perfect gifts for the gourmet!
Beacon Knits – Beacon Knits is based in Beacon (obviously) and will be offering lots of cool and cozy hats at Hullabaloo! This talented maker is inspired by combining different fibers, textures, and colors, stitch-by-stitch, into a functional three-dimensional hat, and feels that the colors and fibers chosen suggest a stitch and shape. The hat, she says, is just a response to the materials chosen. All her hats are beautifully finished, inside and out, and very durable. KnitSquid Fiber Arts Eliza hand-knits her friendly forest of fiber animals in Pittsfield, MA.
