Sponsor Shout-Out: Cheers to Kingston Wine Co.!

A toast, to Hullabaloo sponsor Kingston Wine Co.!

Have you checked out their beautiful shop at 65 Broadway yet? The shelves are stocked with

classic, traditionally-made wines, carefully hand-selected by owners Theresa and Michael. As

their website explains, they tend to choose wines “made using time-honored, historically rich

techniques, achieving an authentic expression of place, history, and culture.”

The couple, who fell in love-at-first-sight with the Kingston area and made a quick decision to

move upstate, are nothing if not hospitable—always ready to suggest the perfect wine for any

occasion, offer a taste, and hear about the latest happenings. They are more-than-gracious

hosts of private tastings and gatherings in their gorgeous shop, and the storefront serves as

a meeting place for Sunday Hikes on the Kingston Greenline (stick around to wet your whistle

afterwards).

While we love the shop’s aesthetic, and Michael and Theresa’s warmth, wine knowledge, and

philosophy as sommeliers, their Wine Share program might just be our favorite thing...a wine

CSA?!? We’ll drink to that...

Thanks for your support, Kingston Wine Co.—here’s to you!

Sponsor Shout-Out: Hullabaloo and Green Mountain Too!

We like to think of Hullabaloo as a “colorful” event but green might just be our favorite shade…That’s why we’re so glad to have the support of returning sponsor Green Mountain Energy Company!

Did you know that you have the right to choose your supply of electricity? Yup, you can ditch “traditional” electricity produced from fossil fuels and choose from cleaner, renewable sources like wind and solar by becoming part of the Green Mountain family.

Green Mountain Energy was founded to change the way power is made, and their mission is to make green energy a mainstream choice. As the longest-serving renewable energy retailer in the country, they work toward this mission by partnering with local utility companies who want to offer their customers renewable energy options. Since we want to be Hullabalooing on this planet for years to come, we totally dig this idea.

Want to learn more? Check out www.greenmountainenergy.com – or better yet, take a break from your boogying and stop by their table in the sponsor area at Hullabaloo to ask about their new products. You can even sign up to switch on the spot!

Thanks for your support, Green Mountain! We CAN’T WAIT to Hullabaloo with you!

Sponsor Shout-Out: Chronogram – the Pulse of the Party!

The November horoscopes in the Chronogram aren’t out yet, but we know what WE’RE predicting: an epic event on November 22nd and 23rd, and a growing friendship between Hullabaloo and returning sponsor Chronogram, based on mutual interests in local art and culture!

Not only are Chronogram’s horoscopes spookily-accurate, Chronogram’s other content is pretty fantastic too. The website and printed magazine are both chock-full of great photos, and their articles on local businesses, people, places, events, issues, and general goings-on keep us informed and in-the-know. They’ve done numerous stories on local artists, craftspeople, and designers and the local makers movement (like this one, which includes Danielle and Hullabaloo: Handmade-on-Hudson) and they’ve had their fingers on the pulse of the local arts scene since only the locals knew how cool it is here.

Have you signed up for their 8-Day Week newsletter yet? Because you should. It’ll keep you in the loop so you don’t miss out on what all the cool kids are doing. And be sure to check the website (www.chronogram.com) regularly for new content and calendar listings. They organize some awesome events of their own too!

Still love a good old-fashioned printed publication? (We do!) Pick up a copy of Chronogram at your favorite local establishment. The covers are gorgeous and you’ll quickly become a collector.

We’re stoked that Chronogram is returning to Hullabaloo this year as a sponsor, and so glad they’ll have a presence at our event. Thanks, Chronogram, for being part of the party!
